THE LAST OF US: Hush Trailer Puts The Fungal Infected on Display

The Last of Us is shaping up to be a pretty astounding title when it finally gets released this June, and one of the reasons why is the omnipresent tension it creates. Most of that is due to the numerous fungal infected skulking around the world, which the newest Developer Diary from Naughty Dog gives us a much closer look at. I'll admit, at first I thought they were just zombies, too--which isn't necessarily a negative, but it's not like we haven't had a few of those titles the last few years. The more they show of them, however, the more impressed I become. Infected enemies in itself isn't too original but the very fungal designs are, as is the way they affect the world around them (watch the trailer and you'll see what I mean).
