Watch Sam Raimi Direct OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL in B-Roll Footage

I've always enjoyed being on the set of TV shows and films. There's just this really great creative feeling and energy that's there. Not everyone gets a chance to visit the sets of movie productions though, so thank goodness for the internet and behind the scenes footage!

Here's a couple of videos giving us some fun B-Roll footage from Sam Raimi's Oz The Great and Powerful. In it you get to see Sam Raimi directing the actors of the film, it gives you a great glimpse at how movie magic is made, and offers a taste of what it's like to be on the set of movie. This was such a great film, and I'm sure most of you are going to enjoy it. It looks like this would have been a great movie to be a part of.

Oz the Great and Powerful opens up in 3D, 2D, and IMAX 3D theaters on March 8th, 2012! Make sure you see it in 3D! It's one of the best 3D movies that has been made.

Disney’s fantastical adventure Oz The Great and Powerful, directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora, Evanora and Glinda, who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

When small-time magician Oscar Diggs pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.
