We have some great news for you gamers out there that love to watch the countless gaming streams on the Twitch.TV website. The company is announcing today that they will launch a new premium service called Turbo, for the low price of $8.99 per month. What does this new premium service include you ask?

The new Turbo service will get rid of the ever annoying advertisements that play in front of every video you try to access on the site. If you’re like myself, it definitely turns you away from the site sometimes. Simply because, as you try to navigate and find a cool show to watch, you have to also watch the annoying ads that go along with them.

But oh no, that’s not it! Turbo will also include superior customer support. Ever send in a support request, only to have it looked at and responded to days later? Well, you won’t have to worry about that any longer. With this new premium customer support, you will get top notch service and pushed to the front of the pack to have your questions answered.

Take a look at what CEO Emmet Shear had to say about the new service:

The Twitch community loves watching video games, chatting, and broadcasting. The average viewer watches over an hour and a half of video each day. Over two-thirds of our logged-in users chat each day. We wanted to find a way to provide the ultimate Twitch experience. We’re very excited to launch it, and we’ll be looking to the community to help us make Twitch Turbo even … ultimatier.

Here’s the full rundown of what you will receive for being a Twitch Turbo member:

  • Ad-free Twitch: No pre-rolls, no mid-rolls, no companions, no display ads, and broadcasters still get paid. All you see are front-page takeovers.
  • Exclusive Turbo Badge: A way to proudly show the community your passion for Twitch.
  • Custom emoticon set: A Choice between the standard set and an all-new set of emoticons to express digital emotions
  • Expanded chat colors: The ability to stand out from the crowd with Turbo-only chat colors.
  • Priority Customer Support: A way to get into the front of the line when you need help.
