Emma Watson in Early Talks for CINDERELLA

Harry Potter star Emma Watson is in early talks to star in Kenneth Branagh's live-action Disney movie Cinderella. If she ends up joining the film production she'll join Cate Blanchettwho is set to play the evil stepmother. Watson is also expected to star in Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, so it looks like she everyone's go to girl for fairytale movies.

Watson has turned into a fantastic young actress. She was great in the Potter series, but she was also really good in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which you should watch if you haven't already. She also just finished shooting Darren Aronofsky's Noah, as well as the Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg comedy This is the End. I could easily see her take on the part of Cinderella.

If everything stays on track the way it is, the studio is hoping to release the film in 2014. I have no doubt Branagh will develop a great vision of this classic fairytale.
