New PACIFIC RIM Photo Shows Off Kaiju Blood

Another new photo has been released for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim showing off the thick black blood from the giant Kaiju monster that will be battling the badass giant Jaeger battle robots. The image came with the following caption,

This is as close as you ever want to get to Kaiju blood.

Not sure what that means, but I'm not a big fan of getting close to any kind of blood in real life! Pacific Rim stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, and Ron Perlman. The film is set to hit theaters July 12th, 2013.

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end.
