New Trailer for the Animated Adventure Film EPIC
Here's another trailer for the upcoming CG animated adventure from Blue Sky, Epic. The Chris Wedge-directed film features an all star cast of voices that includes Beyonce Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Blake Anderson, and Judah Friedlander.
Epic is a 3D CG action-adventure comedy that reveals a hidden world unlike any other. From the creators of "Ice Age" and "Rio," "Epic" tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and the forces of evil. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world...and ours.
The kids are going to love this movie, at least my kids are excited to see it. Me? Not so much, but I'll end up seeing it anyway. You never know! There's always the chance it will exceed my expectations. The new trailer shows off some fun moments, but it's still just not to the caliber of anything Disney, Pixar, or DreamWorks is doing.
