We've seen a few different plot details for the fourth installment of the franchise leak out, but most of them have been shot down. We do know that the movie takes place four years after the events of Dark of the Moon, and it stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, and Nicola Peltz. Here's some previously released information on the story for the film, I'm just not sure how accurate it is:
Transformers 4 picks up after the end of Transformers: Dark of the Moon after a battle left a city broken, but the world was saved by the Autobots.
As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.
The movie will be released on June 27th, 2013.
