Japanese Trailer for THE WOLVERINE - "Wolverine: Samurai"
A new Japanese trailer has been released for James Mangold's The Wolverine. In Japan, the movie is called Wolverine: Samurai, and the trailer does include a few bits of new footage for you to check out. There still seems to be a lot of people who are a little apprehensive about this movie. X-Men: Origins: Wolverine left a bad taste in my mouth too, but this looks like it's going to be a far superior movie.
The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, the film takes Wolverine (Jackman) to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.
The movie comes out on July 26th! We've got another amazing summer of movies this year!
Where do you stand on the film? Are you excited for it or are you not getting your hopes up?
