Zack Snyder on MAN OF STEEL Sequels

Man of Steel looks like it's going to be a fantastic superhero movie that Superman fans are going to love. I'm sure it's going to do extremely well at the box office, so it's going to be no surprise when Warner Bros. says they are going to make a sequel. When Snyder was asked about the possibility of a sequel recently by Empire he simply said,

We didn't design the movie like Batman [i.e. as a trilogy] but I don't think anybody would say you design a Superman movie as a one-off.

I know it's just a tidbit of information, but I thought it would be a good conversation starter. I just think it's kind of silly to think that Warner Bros. wouldn't make a sequel. It looks like they have finally made the Superman film fans have been waiting for. Then there are all the executives that are excited about the movie after having seen it. Personally, if they're all so excited about it, I bet the sequel is already in development.
