Carrie Fisher Talks More about her Role in STAR WARS: EPISODE VII

Apparently, Carrie Fisher didn't get the same memo Harrison Ford did about not talking about Star Wars: Episode VII. She's still talking about it and seems to be very happy to be reprising her role as Princess Leia. During the Calgary Comic Expo this weekend the actress confirmed once again that she would be in the movie, and had this to say about it,

I like being bought by Disney, because they never wanted to buy me before. I'm glad they are doing a new movie because they are sending a trainer to my house so I can get in really good shape. So I'm really eating a lot of sugar in advance, as you can see. By the time I really get down to it I will have eaten everything.

So I guess the next time we see Fisher and Hamill back up on the big screen, they're going to be in decent shape. She then went on to talk about what it was like to kill Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi,

What was his name? Jabba the Hut? I always get his name mixed up with other boyfriends. Oh God, I loved doing that. You know, they ridiculously asked me if I wanted a stunt double to kill Jabba the Hut. Can you imagine? I got to saw that neck off, it was really, really fun and one of the highlights of my career.

She also joked around about kissing Harrison Ford on screen saying,

Here's the thing: There's a difference between screen kissing and life kissing. Harrison doesn't like screen kissing. I believe one time he put an oyster in his mouth. Not with me, he just told me about that so I'd behave myself. So, not so great onscreen. But we were playing spin-the-bottle and he was better.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be released in theaters in summer of 2015 and so far it's safe to assume that it will also star Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Anthony Daniels. I'm sure J.J. Abrams is going to deliver a movie that the fans are going to love!
