First Footage from the Sci-Fi Apocalyptic Thriller SNOWPIERCER
This behind the scenes featurette that's been released for Bong Joon-ho‘s upcoming post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer gives us our first look at some footage from the film. As expected, it looks pretty intense. It's set in a world I wouldn't want to be a part of and makes you not want to get on Chris Evans' bad side.
The movie is based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige created by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Ewan Bremner, Ed Harris, Alison Pill, Octavia Spencer, and Song Kang-ho. Here's the synopsis...
Snowpiercer is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
The movie still doesn't have an exact release date yet, but it's looking like it will be released sometime in the fall.
