Ben Kingsley and Gillian Anderson Join OUR ROBOT OVERLORDS
Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3), Gillian Anderson (The X-Files), and Callan McAuliffe (The Great Gatsby) have all been cast in the upcoming U.K. sci-fi film called Our Robot Overlords.
Jon Wright (Grabbers) is directing the film, the story of which "centers on a teen (McAuliffe) who gathers a group of teens together to search for his long lost father in the midst of a war between humans and robots. The teen discovers a way to fight back and he realizes that there’s more to this war than his own family."
It sounds like it could end up being a cool movie. It starts shooting on June 3rd with a budget of $21 million. I'm curious to see how it ends up turning out.
