Here's a new international poster for 20th Century Fox's Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first film, but the sequel looks like it could be a little better. If you haven't seen the trailer for it yet, check it out here.

The movie has a solid cast that includes Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, Douglas Smith, Mary Birdsong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Missi Pyle, Nathan Fillion, Anthony Head, Paloma Kwiatkowski, Leven Rambin, Stanley Tucci, Robert Maillet, and Zoe Aggeliki. Here's a story description:

The story takes Jackson to the mythical land known as Sea of Monsters to retrieve a golden fleece that is essential to saving an ailing magical tree that protects his home, Camp Half-Blood. He departs with his Olympian sidekicks Annabeth Chase, daughter of the goddess Athena, and Jackson's protective goat-like satyr Grover.

The movie is being directed by Thor Freudenthal, and it's set to hit theaters on August 16th, 2013.
