Kevin Smith has announced via his Facebook account that he's completed the first draft of his final film, Clerks III. When he first started to write the script, he stated that it would be the best film he'd ever make. He tweeted the photo above of the script with the following note...

At 137 pages, it plays like THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK of what's now become the Clerks Trilogy. And I am SO in love with it. Pictured is the script with the clapboard we used on the original CLERKS. Both the old clapboard and the old filmmaker are ready to go back to Jersey for the last time...
This is exciting stuff! I enjoyed the first two Clerks movies, and I'm looking forward to seeing these characters back one last time.
