First Look at Mystique in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST
Jennifer Lawrence is reprising her role as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past and director Bryan Singer has tweeted out our first look at the character in full makeup. She looks great, and the photo came with the following caption:
Jennifer Lawrence as a vengeful Mystique.
I've also included a photo of Singer and Peter Dinklage prepping for a shoot. There's still no word on whom he's playing in the movie.
The movie also stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Nicolas Hoult, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing and Boo Boo Stewart. The movie will be released on July 18th, 2014.
The film is based on the comic book storyline "Days of Future Past," which ran in Uncanny X-Men #141 and 142 back in 1981 during Chris Claremont and John Byrne's run and introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel's mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.
