PUSHING DAISIES Movie Would Tell a Different Kind of Zombie Story

I've always been rooting a Pushing Daises movie since the series ended, but now that I know what it will be about I really want it to happen! In a recent interview with Den of Geek, Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller talked about Kickstarting it, and revealed the it would be a different kind of zombie movie explaining,

If we were able to pull off the Kickstarter, there’s a very fun zombie film that starts with a flash-flood in a cemetery and basically is about those denizens of that cemetery having to kill Ned before he can kill them, so it’s a different kind of zombie movie.

I hope he's serious because that sounds like an amazing film! It would get all of our favorite characters that we've been introduced to throughout the series back into action. When asked if the zombies would be fast Fuller responded with "I think fast, I think because it’s the Pushing Daisies rules so Chuck is, you know, alive." 

I hope more than ever now that this movie happens! I'm not sure why it already hasn't been done. Studios should be jumping all over this thing. He doesn't need a Kickstarter to get it going. Zombies are huge right now, and Pushing Daises has a solid fan base. What the hell are they waiting for? It's annoying when studios have a good thing staring them right in the face, and they choose to ignore it and throw their money at some piece of crap.
