The director of The Muppets, James Bobin, is in early talks to direct the sequel to Disney's Alice in Wonderland. This seems like it would be a much bigger project for the director, who has also worked on HBO's Flight of the Conchords. He's currently developing The Muppets … Again! for Disney.

I didn't really care for Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland, so maybe Bobin will end up bringing something interesting to the table. As of right now there are no story details, but it's safe to say that Alice is going back to Wonderland where she will team back up with the Mad Hatter for another adventure.

There's not much more information at this point, but do you think Bobin is a good choice to take it on?
