Impressive BATTLEFIELD 4 Gameplay Demo - E3 2013
EA and DICE revealed an impressive gameplay demo for Battlefield 4 at E3 2013, and you can watch that demo in its entirety below. I've always been impressed by the Battlefield franchise, and as you'll see, they are taking it to a whole new level of intensity. I love what I've seen from this game so far, and it looks like a must-own.
The game takes place in the year 2020, six years after its predecessor. The player is a character named Recker, "a member of a US special operations squad callsigned 'Tombstone.' His teammates include squad leader Sgt. Dunn, second-in-command Irish, and combat medic Pac."
It was also revealed that Commander Mode will be back. This multiplayer position allows a single player on each team to help their teammates by giving them instructions through a top-down interface. The player can also see where their team is, as well as vehicles and more.
One of the coolest things about this is that the feature goes beyond PCs and consoles, and into the palm of our hands. Players with DICE's Battlelog service installed on their mobile device or tablets will be able to interact with online players in real time.
