STAR TREK USS Enterprise Soap Box Racer

This USS Enterprise soapbox racer was built byStar Trek fan Rob Wixey, and he'll be flying it in the upcoming Red Bull Soapbox race at London’s Alexandra Palace on July 14th. 

With the help of some friends it took him two months to build in his backyard. The frame of the ship is a bike that’s been cut in half then covered with plywood and polystyrene, and then there's a layer of fiberglass that had been sanded and painted for the finished product. 

I wonder if he takes this thing out for a ride around town every weekend.
