Arnold Schwarzenegger Joins Zombie Film MAGGIE
Arnold Schwarzenegger is getting in on the zombie action and has joined the upcoming zombie film project Maggie. The project was announced about a year ago, when Chloe Moretz and Paddy Considine were in negotiations to star in the film. Due to scheduling conflicts though they will not be appearing in the film.
The story is set in a time where a zombie virus has spread across the country. Schwarzenegger will play the father of a young girl who is infected with the virus and slowly turns into a zombie. He takes her on a journey to help her come to terms with her infection as she turns.
This sounds like a pretty heavy and emotional role for Schwarzenegger, which is something he hasn't done for a long time. I hope he can pull it off. Remember End of Days? I'm sure he'll be fine. Commercial director Henry Hobson is set to direct the film, which is based on a Black Script written by by John Scott 3.
The actor is keeping busy, and will next be seen in Escape Plan in October, and David Ayer’s Breacher, formerly Ten, in January. He'll also be back for Terminator 5, will be reprising his role in The Expendables 3, and he's developing a drama for Showtime called Pump.
