William Fichtner Is Shredder in NINJA TURTLES!
When William Fichtner was cast in an unspecified iconic role in Jonathan Liebesman's Ninja Turtles movie, a lot of us speculated that he would be playing the villain Shredder, and guess what? He is. The actor confirmed the news himself in an interview with HuffPost TV Canada. Here's what he said,
"I play Shredder. It is cool. It's one of those things that came along where I thought, 'Really? Let me think about this for a minute.' [Laughs] Then I was like, 'Yeah, OK, this sounds like a journey.' I'm very glad that it worked out, I'm really glad that I'm doing it."
I'm glad he's doing it to. I'm sure he's going to be awesome in the role. He stars alongside Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, and Danny Woodburn as Master Splinter.
The movie comes out on July 6th, 2014.
