Crazy Cool Steampunk Walking Ship - Amagosa

Check out this insanely cool and somewhat creepy custom made steampunk walking ship. The post-apocalyptic vehicle was created by Jason Allemann and he calls it Amagosa. It's based on a kinetic sculpture created by Theo Jansen called "Strandbeest."

This remote-controlled build is powered by the Lego Power Functions system (including an IR receiver, battery box and two M-size motors), and Lego Technic elements for the frame, legs and crankship. Instructions for how to build the walking frame are available here. 

Even though this is something I know I'll see in my nightmares one day, it's still great!
