THE WORLD'S END Featurette - The Origins of the Cornetto Trilogy
In a couple of months, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy a.k.a. the Blood and Ice Cream trilogy will come to a close with the hilariously awesome looking sci-fi comedy The World's End. This is a trilogy of different comedy genre films that these guys have created over the years that also include Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. The World’s End opens in the UK on July 19th and in the US on August 23rd.
The story follows five friends as they reunite to complete an epic bar crawl they failed to finish twenty years ago. In the process, they find themselves caught in the middle of trying to survive some kind of crazy alien robot invasion.
