CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER - New Comic-Con Concept Art!

via ew

Every year before Comic-Con, Marvel releases a couple of pieces of concept art for some of their upcoming movies. Today they give us one for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and it features the hero and the villain locked in epic battle. The art was created by Ryan Meinerd, and one of the interesting things about the piece is that Cap is sporting his original costume. I guess that won't come as a surprise to some of you, as there's a rumor that by the end of the film he'll be in his original costume, so this could solidify that rumor. Marvel will be holding a panel for Captain America: The Winter Soldier at Comic-Con and they'll be showing off the first footage from the film there. Thor: The Dark World will also  be there, and Marvel is expected to make a few other big announcements! Stay tuned for more details!

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will pick-up where "Marvel’s The Avengers" left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be released in theaters April 4th, 2014.
