KICK-ASS 2 - New Poster and Photo of The The Mother F*****
Christopher Mintz-Plasse strikes a pose as The Mother F***** in this latest photo from Kick-Ass 2, and we have a new poster for the film as well. One of the things I love about this character is that as badass as he tries to look, he still comes off as incredibly non-threatening. It's like the more he tries, the funnier it is. I'm not sure if that's what they are going for, but that's how I take it.
Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.
The Jeff Wadlow-directed film looks just as insane as the first one. I'm hoping it ends up being a better all around film. I think it's possible! It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Morris Chestnut, John Leguizamo, Olga Kurkulina, Clark Duke, and Donald Faison.
It comes out on August 16th, 2013!
