Luke's Jedi Training Gets Cut Even Shorter
This picture reminded me of two things that always puzzled me about Star Wars: Yoda's conflicting statements about whether or not Luke had completed his Jedi training, and why Obi Wan would let Luke handle such a dangerous (albeit "civilized") weapon without any instruction on how to use it.
But where's the fun in scrutinizing over those details? It's create a caption time! Here are a few to get you started:
- Obi Wan: "Well, he WAS our new hope."
- Obi Wan: "It's not as clumsy or random as a bla-… it's just as dangerous and deadly though."
- Obi Wan: "Don't worry Luke, they'll be able to fix that eye and your hand." Luke: "What happens to my hand?" Obi Wan: "You'll see."
