The SyFy Channel has released the first trailer for Sharknado, and it's as awesomely ridiculous as we thought it would be! There's really not much more to say. I'll let the trailer speak for itself.

When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air.

The movie stars Aubrey Peeples, Tara Reid, Ian Ziering, and John Heard. It's set to premiere on Thursday July 11 at 9/8c.
