CAPTAIN AMERICA and THOR Sequels Locked in for Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner, so over the next few weeks there's going to be a lot of great Comic-Con news pouring out onto the internet. For those of you who are lucky enough to be attending this year, you'll be happy to know that Marvel and Disney has confirmed that Captain America: The Winter Solider and Thor: The Dark World have been locked down for the convention.  

Marvel will be holding its panel on Saturday, July 20th in Hall H. It has yet to be revealed what time it will take place and who will be in attendance, but Marvel always put on a god panel. They'll be showing off some footage from these films, and will most likely officially announce the future projects that the studio is currently developing.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie in the role of the Falcon and Frank Grillo as Crossbones, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford, and Cobie Smulders. The film arrives in 2D and 3D theaters on April 4th, 2014.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. 

Thor: The Dark World stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Christopher Eccleston and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin. It will be released on November 8th.

He battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s "Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
