Trailer For Adam Scott's Funny Indie Comedy A.C.O.D.

Adam Scott can be a pretty funny dude. Most people know him from the NBC series Parks & Recreation, but he's also been in films such as Step Brothers, Aviator, and even Torque. A trailer for his new comedy A.C.O.D. (a.k.a. Adult Children of Divorce) has been released, and it looks pretty funny. It was directed by Stu Zicherman, who has a writing credit on the film Electra, but don't hold that against him, it looks like he did a good job with this one. I didn't get a chance to see the film up at Sundance, but the rest of our crew did, and you can watch their video review of it here!

Carter is a seemingly well-adjusted Adult Child of Divorce. Having survived the madness of his parents’ divorce, Carter now has a successful career and supportive girlfriend. But when his younger brother gets engaged, Carter is forced to reunite his bitterly divorced parents and their new spouses for the wedding, causing the chaos of his childhood to return including his wacky therapist.

The movie also stars Richard Jenkins, Catherine O’Hara, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Jessica Alba. It hits theaters on October 4th!
