Fifth BOURNE Movie Moves Into Development
Universal Pictures is moving forward with a fifth Bourne film that will once again focus on the character Aaron Cross. Jeremy Renner will reprise his role as Cross, and the studio has hired screenwriter Anthony Peckham to continue the story.
Cross was part of a group of agents who took part in Operation Outcome. He was medically enhanced to be smarter and physically superior. Those agents were targeted for termination.
I didn't really care for director Tony Gilroy's Bourne Legacy, so I could care less about this fifth film. In case you're wondering, Matt Damon won't be coming back to team up with Renner in the film as previously rumored.
