SyFy Channel Gives 12 MONKEYS TV Series Full Order
The SyFy Channel must see a lot of potential in the pilot episode of a new series based on Terry Gilliam's sci-fi action thriller 12 Monkeys. According to Deadline, the network has ordered up 12-episodes.
It's an hour-long series and it was written on spec by Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett (Terra Nova). The series follows "the journey of a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race."
I loved the movie, and it will be interesting to see how this series turns out. I'll be looking forward to it!
