X-Files Creator To Develop Series for Amazon
I'm curious, does anyone actually watch movies and TV shows on Amazon? I just think it's interesting that they are still doing their own original series' like Zombieland, which completely bombed. X-Files creator Chris Carter is making a return to the small screen, and is developing a new series for Amazon called The After. It's described as a post-apocalyptic drama that Carter is attached to write and direct. Apparently the story picks up the moment after the apocalypse.
The X-Files is one of my favorite shows ever, and I think it's great that Carter is going to get to work on a new project. I don't ever watch anything on Amazon, though. Maybe I'll check it out when I can watch it for free.
Other shows that they are developing include the Jeffrey Tambor vehicle Transparent and a football comedy called The Outlaws.
How do you feel about Carter developing a series for Amazon? Will you watch it?
