Matt Damon Joins Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR

Matt Damon is not going to play Robin or Aquaman in any of the upcoming superhero movies being developed at Warner Bros. But there is a chance that he could return to the Bourne franchise, and now it's being reported that he has officially been cast in Christopher Nolan's sci-fi film project, Interstellar

According to The Playlist, it's a small, undisclosed role. All of the roles in the film are being kept under wraps. Apparently, Damon will only be shooting on the project for two weeks in Iceland.

The story "chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage."

Damon joins an already impressive cast led by Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, John Lithgow, and Michael Caine.

You'll be able to catch the film in theaters on November 7th, 2014.
