Brad Pitt Gives Update on WORLD WAR Z Sequel
It looks like things are in motion for the World War Z sequel that Brad Pitt and Paramount Pictures want to do. While promoting his new film, 12 Years a Slave, Pitt was asked about the sequel, to which he replied,
“We’re certainly talking about it, yes. We have so many ideas on the table from the time we spent developing this thing and figuring out how the zombie worlds work. We gotta get the script right first to determine if we go further. We have so many ideas and so much information–we think we have a lot of stuff to mine from.”
I really enjoyed the the first movie, and it did really well at the box office, pulling in $533 million world wide, making it Pitt's most successful film. With all of the stuff they have to work with, I think a sequel has the potential to be even better than the first movie. If Pitt likes what the script for the sequel brings, he says he'd love to come back.
I hope they are able to come up with a great idea for a sequel, because I'd love to see it.
