Poster for DOCTOR WHO's 50th Anniversary Special "The Day of the Doctor"
The BBC has release the poster for Doctor Who's highly anticipated 50th Anniversary Special, "The Day of the Doctor." This is going to be quite an event, and I'm really excited to see what exactly is in store for us!
Matt Smith, David Tennant, Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper, and John Hurt are all set to be in the series. It's going to be the first time Tennant and Piper have appeared in the series since 2010. Smith had this to say in a statement,
“'The Day of the Doctor' is nearly here! Hope you all enjoy. There’s lots more coming your way, as the countdown to the 50th begins now.”
Writer and producer Steven Moffat added,
"50 years has turned Doctor Who from a television show into a cultural landmark. Personally I can't wait to see what it becomes after a hundred."The series is set to premiere on Saturday, November 23rd, and I'm sure it will be amazing!
