Tom Hiddleston Talks Loki in THOR: THE DARK WORLD and Beyond

Tom Hiddleston has quickly risen to the top as a fan favorite for his portrayal of Loki in the the Marvel cinematic universe. The guy is amazing in the role, and it's going to be so cool to see what's in store for the character in Thor: The Dark World and beyond. In a recent interview with MTV the actor discusses it saying,

"It's a roller coaster, no question. It's full of ups and downs and loop-de-loops and twists and turns. It will take you to places you haven't seen before."

In Thor: The Dark World Loki teams up with his brother Thor to take on Malekith the Accursed, the leader of the Dark Elves. In regard to that aspect of the film, Hiddleston says,

"They have an ancient, ancient grudge against Asgard and against the reign of Odin, and they're back."

The actor goes on to talk about his complicated relationship with Thor, and when asked if Loki will remain on Thor's side, he said,

"Loki has a very complicated relationship with Thor. He is an agent of chaos without equal in the world he inhabits. He knows his true nature. He knows he doesn't belong in the family of Asgard, and he's locked away in the beginning of the film in the deepest, darkest recesses of the dungeon as public enemy number one."

For those of you who have seen the Comic-Con footage for the movie, or you've read about it, then you know that Loki once again betrays his brother. As for what's in store for Loki in the future he says,

"I do feel like there's some unfinished business between Loki and the Hulk. I feel like he didn't get a fair fight. Who knows, you'll have to see what happens in 'The Dark World' to find out where Loki finishes up."

Joss Whedon has already said that Loki will not be a part of Avengers: Age of Ultron, so it will be interesting to see what movie he pops up in next.
