3 New Photos of Daniel Radcliffe in HORNS

We've got three new photos of Daniel Radcliffe in his crazy-looking new movie, Horns.  It looks like it's something he's going to have to get used to in the movie. I'm surprised more people aren't sporting horns these days.

The film is an adaptation based on the book by Joe Hill, and it's being directed by Alexandre Aja (Piranha).

Radcliffe plays a character named Ig Perrish, who is "the lead suspect in the violent rape and killing of his girlfriend. Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his head. Their power drives people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses -- an effective tool in his quest to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend's death and for exacting revenge. The dark fantasy explores why bad things happen to good people and what the loss of true love can do to a man."

This is an interesting concept, and it sounds like it will make for a really entertaining film. Here's what Radcliffe had to say about it in a previous interview, "It’s a very, very different type of part than anything I’ve done before." He also describes the character he plays as being "deeply emotional and also incredibly outrageous in some ways. To play somebody who, in the midst of a time in his life of great turmoil anyway, undergoes this horrific transformation into a devil character — it was very, very exciting.”

I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

Here's the description of the book:

Merrin Williams is dead, slaughtered under inexplicable circumstances, leaving her beloved boyfriend Ignatius Perrish as the only suspect. On the first anniversary of Merrin's murder, Ig spends the night drunk and doing awful things. When he wakes the next morning he has a thunderous hangover . . . and horns growing from his temples. Ig possesses a terrible new power to go with his terrible new look—a macabre gift he intends to use to find the monster who killed his lover. Being good and praying for the best got him nowhere. Now it's time for revenge . . .
It's time the devil had his due. . .
