2021 Will Break the Record for Marvel Movies Released in a Single Year
Back in the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we were getting an average of two films a year. In the first phase, we saw one to two films per year, with one year being skipped altogether. In the second phase, we consistently saw two films each year, and in the third phase, we saw three films each year. But now we are entering into a whole new era of the MCU. This fourth phase is not only introducing the multiple TV series that will tie into the timeline, but in two years, we will get four new films in one year, and that is so crazy exciting!
The four film slate includes Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, the untitled Spider-Man 3 movie on July 16, 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. This is such an exciting breakthrough for fans! We just can’t get enough of the old characters we love (including Spider-Man 3!), and I know I’m super stoked to see the stories from the new super-heroes, and everything they have to offer.
Which Phase 4 movie are you most excited about?!
