3 New Clips from JUPITER ASCENDING Reveal More of The Wachowskis' Wild Vision

I wrote a little about The Wachowskis in a piece yesterday spotlighting a 100 minute interview they did. Today I have another opportunity to write about them, thanks to the release of three new clips from their upcoming sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending. I'm always happy to shine a light on them because I feel like the writer/director duo is often overlooked when conversations arise about America's most interesting filmmakers. They take their craft very seriously (as evidenced in that interview), and they seem to be willing to take artistic chances that other filmmakers simply wouldn't take.

I really hope Jupiter Ascending turns out to be great, but the studio bumping it from a summer release to a February 6th opening doesn't necessarily bode well. I'll remain optimistic, though, because even if it's terrible, I'm still happy that the Wachowskis are creating massive, original sci-fi universes of their own design.
