40 YEARS OF E.T. Clip Offers a Special Behind the Scenes Look at Steven Spielberg's E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL
Universal Pictures has released a wonderful clip from a new 40 Years of E.T. featurette for the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray re-release of Steven Spielberg’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The clip is titled “Inner Child,” and it features Leonard Martin and Ernest Cline (Ready Player One) discussing Spielberg and the special things that he brings to this classic film as a director.
The video also features some cool behind the scenes footage from the movie that I don’t recall ever seeing before. This is one of my all-time favorite movies. It’s the first movie I have a memory of seeing in a theater, and it was just such a special experience as it sparked my love for film.
In the clip, Martin says, "Steven Spielberg has a gift for getting inside the child in all of us because he has that quality himself."
