5 Deadpool Throwdowns Perfect For The Big Screen

I know, I know I'm putting the taco sauce before the chimichanga on this one. We haven't even SEEN the first Deadpool, should we really be talking a sequel? My response? HELL YES. Even if the Deadpool movie is a "meh," the sequels leave the possibility for a level of superhero exposure and creativity previously unseen in the cinematic world!

One thing Deadpool really does well is work with other characters. Not in the fictional sense of course, he can't even get along with heroes, but the stories he shares with them are something amazing. This is especially true when they fight! Nothing better than two heroes going one on one, right? This list is comprised of actual canon throwdowns "The Merc With A Mouth" has had, as well as a couple that are just a pipe dream!

5. Deadpool Vs. Dracula

While I'll concede that the comic book run of Deadpool vs. Dracula would not likely translate as well as I'd hope to a feature film, damn, would I love to see this match up happen somehow! Dracula is a thousands of years old lord of darkness. If we are operating in the world of fiction, it's not improbable to think he could hold his own against a large bulk of the Marvel universe if need be. Could Deadpool hang against the demon lord?

If you read the comic, yes and no, but I won't spoil that. What I will say is the run involved Blade and the Thunderbolts. Imagine DP, Red Hulk, Punisher, and Blade battling hordes of undead warriors led by Dracula... yeah, you see my point.

4. Deadpool vs. Zombies

If you've never read any of the Night of The Living Deadpool series and you like The Walking Dead, GET ON IT. The series is a parody of the comic in art style and seriousness and imagines what would happen if DP dropped in on the world of the Walkers. It really got my brain going on just how awesome a zombie driven Deadpool film could be!

First off, Deadpool is the ultimate zombie fighting machine. In addition to sword and gun skills, his regenerative ability makes him immune (minus Marvel Zombies) to the way a zombie virus spreads! Who's to say that a zombie biting him might not have adverse effects on him (spoiler alert: it does and creates a legion of zombie Deadpools).

In a world where sequels are oftentimes "more of the same," what a curveball it would be to abandon the premise of the first film and make it a zombie apocalypse slasher film! Super violent and super powered! Nothing wrong with that!

3. Deadpool Vs. Continuity

It's a damn shame Fox went ahead and had Wolverine fix their awful film timelines, because it would've been awesome to see Deadpool do it for them! With his handy time machine, DP is no stranger to ruining the time stream of other heroes. If only Marvel had the rights! I would absolutely love to see Deadpool be traveling through time and accidentally find himself in the Battle of New York scene in the first Avengers! Maybe he was even the reason something didn't go catastrophically wrong!

2. Deadpool vs. Deadpool

I can honestly think of no better way to introduce a film audience to the Marvel multiverse without wildly confusing them. Deadpools from various worlds are being killed, and it's up to Deadpool to figure out who the assassin is...even if it's Deadpool. The amount of zany that could happen with this film is limitless, and fans would appreciate seeing Deadpool-ized versions of other well-known heroes.

My personal favorite has to be Deadpool Wolverine, who only says corny one liners and types of beer.

1. Deadpool vs. CARNAGE

It's a villain so sick, so impossible, so twisted he wouldn't even fit in the film universe he's supposed to. There's no way I could see Carnage fitting in either of the existing Spider-man film franchises with the true intensity he has in the comics. The violence, the swearing, the overall psychopathic behavior...it's only fit for something with an R rating. Deadpool vs. Carnage was a blood bath of fun and chaos and far and away it tops the list of things I would like to see on the big screen. Of course, this is probably the one I see happening least of all due to the bloody violence, and lack of ability to tie him to the Spider-man universe. We can dream, right?

So you heard my picks...anything I left out? What's your top pick?
