5 Disney Movies That Recycled Animated Footage
To save money and time, Disney animators sometimes had to recycle certain footage that was already used in previous films. Screen Rant has compiled a video list together showing us some of these recycled scenes. The movies presented here include Robin Hood, The Jungle Book, The Sword in the Stone, Winnie the Pooh, and Beauty and the Beast.
The video offers us a side-by-side comparison of the footage in question, and it's really interesting to see how much of the same animation was actually recycled. Some of the scenes were actually copied shot-for-shot!
Disney may be a major studio, but it started small, which meant its animators had to bring people, animals, and magical creatures to life better than any one. When they did just that - and didn't have the budget to bankroll million-dollar movies - the animators decided NOT to start from scratch. Instead, they traced over animation that had already been released. And if you think it's just a case of copying a handful of frames, we've got a surprise for you! Here are Screen Rant's Recycled Movie Scenes In Disney Films.
