5 Geeky Things We Want This Week: May the Fourth Edition

True story: I did not see Star Wars until I was 27 years old. Also a true story: until I was 27 years old, I thought I had seen Star Wars as a child. I did totally see Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, though. Anyway, Star Wars day is swiftly approaching, so put a rush order on these geeky items to celebrate in style.

Stormtrooper Suit Up Racerback Tank
Maybe you want to show your Star Wars love in a hip, ironic way. Maybe you want it to be ambiguously political, too. Like, the real drones are the people who wear suits to work and buy and trade our futures, or something. I don’t know, maybe that Stormtrooper just wants to look fly. (There is a men’s version of the shirt here.) [Etsy]

Jedi Sleeved Blanket
If you celebrate Star Wars day alone, watching all six of the movies (plus the weird Ewok TV movies), and eating a ton of snack foods, you’re going to want this blanket. Look like a Jedi while you sit around stuffing your gob like Jabba the Hutt. [Think Geek]

I Love You, I Know Rings
I have spent the last year unsuccessfully trying to get every engaged geek I know to use these for their wedding rings. If you met your girlfriend at last year’s May the Fourth party, here’s a way to put a ring on it without actually telling her how you feel. [Etsy]

Magnetic R2D2 Bottle Opener
I don’t know where you live, but here in L.A. it is hotter than Tatooine, and in weather like this, there is nothing better than sitting outside with your friends late at night, drinking an ice cold (root) beer. And when your buddies can’t open the bottles with their teeth, this bottle opener is so much cooler than a church key. [Amazon]

LEGO Boba Fett Keylight
It is probably your goal in life to not actually do a lot but look really cool at all times. If so, Boba Fett is your spirit animal, and you can have him with you always, lighting your way, if you buy this keylight. [Think Geek]
