5 Pokemon I Want to Get Galarian Forms in Isle of Armor

With the announcement of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Passes, we were also officially introduced to Galarian Slowpoke. We also know we’re getting Galarian Slowbro and Slowking and it looked like we’re getting Galarian versions of the original three Legendary Birds. This got me thinking, what Pokémon do I think should get Galarian forms? Well, with over 200 Pokémon coming through the Expansion Pass, I thought I’d brainstorm some potential Galarian forms I’d like to see in the Isle of Armor half. Some of these match the Pokémon I think could show up in the Isle of Armor.

Scyther

I’ve always loved the idea of taking Scyther and playing around with his typing. We sort of got that with his evolution Scizor, but what if we went further? I think a Grass-type variant or even a Fairy-type could be well received. I also think going for more of a Poison-type vibe could be a bit more of a surprise and work with the more temperate/tropical nature of the Isle of Armor.

Aipom

Aipom is a Pokémon that I often overlook. However, I think they could very easily play around with this monkey like making it a Psychic-type or maybe have it follow in Grookey’s steps and become a Grass-type. It could throw bananas or something like that.

Krookodile

Let’s make this crocodile a Water-type. Make him look a bit more like a traditional crocodile to hang out in the water, but maybe make most of his body dark like a wet-suit. You could then make him part Grass and put lilypads and moss over him or part Ghost and make him a bit more haunting.

Golduck

Let’s make Golduck a Psychic-type. You could make him a Psychic/Flying type and enjoy that. You could give him more of a feathery look.

Yanma

Let’s take this dragonfly and turn him into a firefly! That’s right, I’m suggesting we make him part Fire and change his aesthetic slightly to better mirror that of a firefly including a glowing bulb for an abdomen.
