Rapper, actor, and producer 50 Cent Jackson has most recently been hard at work wrapping up the final season of the series Power, and the first season of the series For Life, on which he worked as an actor as well as executive producer. Next up, he has taken on the crime drama Twenty Four Seven, which will tell the story from behind the scenes of the rap world inspired by Notorious C.O.P.: The Inside Story of the Tupac, Biggie, and Jam Master Jay Investigations from NYPD’s First “Hip-Hop Cop.” Rapper and actor T.I. is attached to star.

CBS All Access is in final negotiations to produce the project, which is being written by Dallas Jackson based on the book by Derrick Parker and Matt Diehl.

The book centers on Parker (who will be played by T.I.). He worked on some of the biggest criminal cases in rap history, from the shooting at Club New York to the first shooting of Tupac Shakur.

This will be a crazy, interesting series to see unfold, and Jackson and T.I. are great actors and insiders who will be able to bring a personal perspective to the project. Does Twenty Four Seven sound like a series you might like?
