7 New Photos From STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER and 3 EW Covers That Focus on Each Trilogy
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have seven new photos to share with you from director J.J. Abrams’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. This is the film that will bring the Skywalker saga to a close, and fans are eagerly waiting to see if Abrams has been able to pull it off and give us an awesome and satisfying conclusion. It may seem like the odds are against him, but we’re gonna just have to wait and see.

This image show Finn (John Boyega), Chewbacca, Rey (Daisy Ridley), and Poe (Oscar Isaac) facing a threat, and as you can see they looking a little concerned.
Poe Dameron is seen hear hanging out with Finn and Resistance mechanic and fighter Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran).
Here we see Rey facing off against a training remote on a jungle-like planet.
A squad of stormtroopers and snowtroopers are on the move on the planet Kijimi. This is where Keri Russell‘s character Zorri Bliss will be introduced.
This is our first look at First Order Allegiant General Pryde (Richard E. Grant) as a new villainous character that has been introduced.
This is Finn with and a new character in the saga named Jannah (Naomi Ackie).
Here we see First Order Supeme Leader Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) with an array of Stromtroopers standing behind him.
Below you’ll find three EW covers, and each pays tribute to one of the three Star Wars trilogies that have been made. The original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the current trilogy that is about to come to an end.
The film will “take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.”
The film also stars Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo,, with Ian McDiarmid and the great Billy Dee Williams.
The movie is set to be released in U.S. theaters on December 20th.
