7 Things You Probably Didn't Know About The MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE Franchise

Cinefix is back with another "7 Things You Probably Didn't Know" video, this one taking aim at Tom Cruise's nearly 20-year-old spy franchise, Mission: Impossible. I really dig these videos because unlike a lot of the standard trivia posts you'll see pop up online, these actually do offer up a couple of facts that I really didn't know beforehand.

Maybe it's because this franchise has been slowly chugging along for almost two decades instead of pumping out a movie every year like some other big blockbusters, but there's a weird sense that the Mission: Impossible movies are sort of considered underdogs, even though they have one of the world's biggest movie stars leading the charge. I've been a fan of all of these films, and Rogue Nation (which I saw last night, and Jake reviewed here) continues that trend. That film hits theaters this Friday.
