KINGDOM HEARTS 4 Surprise Announcement and Trailer!
Over the weekend, to the surprise of Kingdom Hearts fans, Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts 4 and they even had a trailer to share! This big reveal came during the 20th Anniversary event for the game franchise.
It’s crazy that it’s been 20 years that this franchise was launched. I remember buying and playing that first game and being engulfed in this fantastical world of Disney.
I honestly wasn’t expecting to see another Kingdom Hearts game for a very long time after Kingdom Hearts 3, which was released in 2019. I don’t know if you remember or not, but that game took an incredibly long time to make! Then last year, series director Tetsuya Nomura managed expectations making it seem like there might not even be a new game in development.
Well, Kingdom Hearts 4 is indeed coming and there’s no doubt that fans are excited! No other details were shared for the game, but the trailer offers an exciting tease of what to expect! Check it out and tell us what you think! The trailer stars at the 4:06 mark.
