'80s-Inspired Short Film META MAN Has Some Serious Style

"Meta Man," a dialogue-free short film from a YouTube channel called Dust, has a terrific synth-heavy score and style for days. It's a classic "robosuit-wearing vigilante hero vs. faceless evil threatening the city" story that takes clear inspiration from Transformers, RoboCop, Street Fighter, and many more. Since the story is pretty flimsy, it's actually more amusing to try to count all of its influences than attempt to figure out anything deeper than the surface-level style.
