A WONDER WOMAN 1984 Set Photo Has Started the Rumor Mill Turning

Wonder Woman was a ray of hope in a flailing DCEU. It has turned into a superhero movie that I enjoy watching every time it is on. I am truly excited to see what Patty Jenkins is going to do with the Amazonian Princess this time around. We were blessed last year at SDCC ‘18 with an action packed fight scene from Wonder Woman 1984. It definitely got me hooked and excited for more.

With a little under a year left until its June 2020 release, I imagine we will be seeing more press and behind the scenes looks into the upcoming movie. We are going to start it off with this behind the scenes photo that was released by reddit user u/professional_skeeter.

This is a cool shot, but it is the caption that is causing a stir on the internet. The mention of Bana-Mighdall is a little presumptuous.

Bana-Mighdall is a faction of Amazonians that left Themyscira and settled in Egypt. Unless they were given some insider info on this picture, there really isn’t much difference in what this Amazon warrior is wearing as opposed to what they were wearing in Themyscira. One commenter thought the same thing and posted this picture from the first film.

There is a very strong possibility that the Bana-Mighdall show up in this film. In the comics, Cheetah steals the Lasso of truth from Wonder Woman and gave it to Shim’Tar or the chief of the Bana-Mighdall. Remember this is all speculation, but it could definitely be a part of it.

Wonder Woman 1984 will hit the theaters June 5th 2020. The movie brings back Gal Gadot and Chris Pine reprising their roles from the first film and Kristen Wiig as Barbra Minerva/Cheetah. Let us know what you think.
